2025-2026 Annual Banquet
On September 24, 2026, the Kiwanis Club of Southwest Omaha held their annual banquet and award ceremony. Diana Wagner was installed as the new president. Many thanks to Wendell Hockens for being a great president in 2025-2026. Andy Bradley installed new officers and board members. We recognized two members with 25 years of Kiwanis membership, Britt Campbell and Rebecca Flint.

Lydia House Student Awards
Our club recently recognized students at the Lydia House for their hard work. Students received a certificate and were honored individually. Pizza was enjoyed by all!
Rockwell Student Dictionary Presentation
Club members presented dictionaries to all 3rd grade students at Rockwell Elementary. Students enjoy exploring all of the features of the book and even learn the longest word!
Mental Health Grant for Rockwell
Through Kiwanis International, our club recently was awarded a grant to help support students at Rockwell Elementary. Rockwell has a goal to help all teachers provide a Calming Corners in their classroom. These areas will include a soft cushion, books, fidgets, calming tools and more. With the help of Rockwell School Connect Community and the grant, we were able to provide the above supplies for each classroom.

Youth Protection Training
Each year every Kiwanis Club participates in the required Youth Protection Training. It is intended to make us all aware of the dangers that can happen to youth and trains us to prevent and know when to report inappropriate situations occurring in our communities.

2026-2027 Club President
President Diana Wagner has been a member of Kiwanis since 2000 , when she joined in Fremont, Nebraska. She transferred to the Club of Southwest Omaha in 2022. While in Fremont she served as President, President-Elect, and advisor to K-Kids, Key Club and Circle K. As a member of the Kiwanis Club of Southwest Omaha she has been just as active, serving as the advisor to K-Kids, co-chairman of the Hope Totes project, one of the School Champions for Rockwell Elementary School, President-Elect, and now President. In 2023-2024 Diana was Kiwanian of the year for the Kiwanis Club of Southwest Omaha.
