Kiwanis Club of Southwest Omaha Community Service Scholarship
The Kiwanis Club of Southwest Omaha awards a $2000 scholarship to a Millard West Key Club member who demonstrates the following strengths and characteristics:
The scholarship is facilitated by the Millard Education Foundation. A Scholarship Committee made up of Kiwanians from the Kiwanis Club of Southwest Omaha meets to evaluate applicants based on the above criteria to select the recipient.
- Involvement and membership in Millard West Kiwanis Key Club;
- A strong record of community service activity during high school years;
- Demonstrated experiences that set a positive example for peers and the community at large of the importance of community service;
- Ability and dedication to pursue post-high school academic or career-readiness study; and
- Demonstrated need of the scholarship to meet post-high school goals.
