Monroe Burianek-Lauritzen Gardens

Monroe, Adult Education and Volunteer Coordinator, spoke to the club about Lauritzen Gardens and the many updates and changes the gardens have experienced over the years.  She gave a brief history of the gardens and their most humble beginnings.  She then talked about the newest attractions; Polina Gardens, located at 727 S. 13th Street, and Sophia's Garden, the children's area just as you enter the garden grounds.   Monroe answered our many questions and encouraged volunteers.
